Roger N Huang

Roger N Huang is an author of the book Chasing God, Producer of the film 33 Days, and Founder & Co-Executive Director of SF City Impact. He is also is the founding Pastor of SF Worship Center.

The start of SF City Impact:

It has been over 37 years since Roger Huang first witnessed a young boy being bullied in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco and after hearing God speak, "what would you do if that was your son?" Roger said, "I would help him." God replied, "they're all the same to me."  In response, he and his wife passed out 50 sandwiches the very next day. Almost four decades later, SF City Impact has grown into a multi faceted organization spanning from founding the very first private elementary school in the Tenderloin District, to many community programs serving various demographics of the community. Roger and his wife Maite’s only goal is to serve the community and be a source of hope and share of God’s love while meeting the needs of the community through relationship and conversation.

Founded in 1984.
